ACDH contributes @ ELTE.DH

The Austrian Centre for Digital Humanities (ACDH-OeAW) makes a significant contribution to the programme of the DH_Budapest_2018.

The ACDH at the Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE.DH) – in collaboration with DARIAH, CLARIN and Michael Culture Association – calls for abstracts for its conference held on 28–31 May 2018.

DH_Budapest_2018 seeks to provide a stimulating international forum to bring together researchers from Central Europe and beyond. It will examine the current state of research in digital humanities in the hope of exposing further aspects of the role played by the digital medium in the present and the future of scholarly practices. Katalin Lejtovicz, programme committee member, introduces into historical network analysis in collaboration with ÖAW institutions INZ and ISR. The work is conducted in the framework of an open innovation movement. The model and its flexibility and liquidity to certain research interests is presented by Barbara Piringer as well.


Open Innovation Research Infrastructure: Value driven organisational designs fostering innovative DH on the example of Biographical research

Thomas Palfinger is presenting first results towards a co-created Thesaurus with Topothek.at. Barbara Piringer is presenting the first approaches towards blockchain lexicography with Bitpanda.
