Biographical sketch

Adèle Lemoine is a Post-doctoral Researcher at the Vienna Institute of Demography in the Demography of Austria Research Group. She is an economist with interest in gender inequality, family dynamics and public policies. Her current work examines how parenthood, social norms, and family policies shape gender gaps in the labour market, within households, and in later-life outcomes. Before joining the Vienna Institute of Demography, she held positions at the University of Vienna, Sciences Po Paris, and the University of Paris-Dauphine-PSL, where she completed her PhD in Economics in 2023. She is currently involved in the Skill-PAL project and contributes to the development of the European Parenting Leave Policies (EPLP) dataset.
