RESEARCH UNIT CHILD LANGUAGE
Our research in child language focusses on children’s development of spoken language, from early childhood to pre-adolescence.
One main research area is children’s development of morphology in German, in comparison with other languages.
For that purpose, different types of methodologies are used, such as longitudinal spontaneous speech,
cross-sectional naturalistic elicitations, and different kinds of experimental tasks.
