New publication of the Clean Air Commission

November 23, 2012: "Interdisciplinary Perspectives Vol. 2" published

The compendium "Advances of Atmospheric Aerosol Research in Austria" is now volume 2 in the series "Interdisciplinary Perspectives"


"Interdisciplinary Perspectives" are a common series of the Austrian Acedemy of Sciences' Clean Air Commission together with the Commission for Interdisciplinary Ecological Studies. This volume brings together contributions from members of the Clean Air Commission Band to demonstrate the high scientific level maintained in research related to atmospheric aerosols in Austria. The individual papers cover all major topics - from the release of fine particles, measurement techniques, to chemical and physical properties. Likewise, aerosol impacts to human health as well as to climate are being discussed. The volume will be introduced to the gerneral public at the occasion of the Clean Ai Commissions 50th anniversyry event.
