European conference drew 250 participants, among them TA experts from the US, Brasil and Japan. Central to the broad range of topics was the role of TA in policy-making on issues involving science, technology and innovation.

The latest findings on nano-safety were the focus of this year’s QualityNano conference in Prague. Among the topics discussed were international standards for laboratories.
