Currently this is made up of six renowned scientists and one delegate from the Federal Ministry for Science and Research (BMWF). The SAB meets biannually. Its main task is to advise the ITA strategically and on the development of its current medium-term research programme as well as in connection with its activities in the field of advicing policymakers and society.
