In this research area, the
contributes to general TA questions, e.g. as regards new TA methods (in
particular participatory methods) and
observes new approaches to TA. At the end of the 1990s the
carried out the Austrian technology delphi.
As the only specialised TA institution in Austria, the
also
serves as a focal point in the TA network and gives input to the TA database,
publishes a TA newsletter and organises
public seminars, workshops and conferences, among them the yearly international
TA conferences.
