A warm word of thanks for your support during this last year, when the future of Byzantine Research at the Austrian Academy of Sciences was under threat.

Your petitions and letters of support have been instrumental in securing the continuation of our long-term research projects and in averting lay-offs. As a result of administrative re-structuring, Byzantine Research is now a division within the Institute for Medieval Studies. Our location remains in Wohllebengasse, and we look forward to welcoming you here whenever your paths take you to Vienna.
