Project work at the Konrad Lorenz Institute for Ethology of the ÖAW (Vienna) and one-year research fellowship in New Zealand at the Edward Percival Field Station (Kaikoura), University of Canterbury.
Head of the Regional Office North for Adult Education in Burgenland (East Austria) for 15 years. Responsible for event organisation, project work, lectures, moderation on the subject of ecology and regional development in the border area to Hungary, development of new cooperative structures and networks.
Since May 2008, assistant at the newly founded Center for Geosciences of the Austrian Academy of Sciences.
