Tradition and Innovation in the Mycenaean Palatial Polities
International Symposium
So far, the relation between older traditions and innovative elements in the Mycenaean palatial polities has not been in the focus of research. Therefore, the central idea of the symposium is to investigate this question from different points of view and to bring scholars together who are studying the written evidence of Linear B records as well as different aspects of archaeological data. Furthemore, the symposium comprises the presentation of recent excavation results of sites hitherto largely unknown.
