  • Elucidation of immunologic features and functions of epidermal Langerhans cells
  • Discovery as well as phenotypic and functional characterization of dendritic epidermal T cells
  • Identification of Langerhans cells as targets of HIV-1
  • Structural and functional characterization of IgE receptors on Langerhans cells and other dendritic cells
  • Elucidation of the mechanism of action of genetically modified cancer cell - based vaccines
  • Gene therapy of melanoma
