Study Group on Historical Sources of Traditional Music (ICTM)
19th Meeting in Vienna
The Study Group's first official meeting took place in 1967 - the 19th meeting is the first to be held in Vienna and will be organised by the Phonogrammarchiv. The topics of this meeting are: "Historical sources and contemporary fieldwork in ethnomusicology - relationship, dialogue, mutual benefit" and "Multidisciplinary approaches to the study of historical sources of traditional music" - these issues are closely related to the Phonogrammarchiv's work and research.
