Symposium

Microfluidics for X-ray Nanoanalytics

Principles, Engineering, Applications

The progress in technology of fabricating microfluidic devices has triggered various applications in the field of X-ray sciences in the laboratory as well as at synchrotron centres. The current development of nanometer-scaled sized X-ray beams and new manufacturing processes for microfluidics will open challenging experimental opportunities for X-ray analytics, which will stimulate the all fields from proteomics, high throughput screening till ultra-fast chemical reactions.

In this symposium the three different key players of microfluidics in X-ray nanoanalytics that are usually separated into different communities will be brought together: methodologists, engineers, applicants.
