Das Wien[n]erische Diarium: Digitaler Datenschatz für die geisteswissenschaftlichen Disziplinen

An der Nutzung des Wien[n]erischen Diariums in einer digitalen Umgebung besteht großes Interesse. In diesem go!digital 2.0 Projekt soll in enger Zusammenarbeit mit Forschenden der geisteswissenschaftlichen Disziplinen untersucht werden, welche Aspekte bei der Erschließung dieses Datenschatzes von gemeinsamer Relevanz sind.


DEFC stands for Digitizing Early Farming Cultures. The DEFC-App is an application for curating, exploring, and retrieving archaeological datasets.


The "Baedeker Corpus" brings together early German travel guides on non-European countries in an up-to-date and sustainable digital form. Corpus building and design principles aim at reducing the shortage of appropriate digital data, which allow for historical analyses and at providing an incentive for further investigations in this field.


The ACDH is a project partner of dariahTeach, a project funded through an Erasmus+ Strategic Partnership Grant. dariahTeach is developing open-source, high quality, multilingual teaching materials for the digital arts and humanities. 


European Research Infrastructure for Language Resources and Technology

The European Research Infrastructure Consortium CLARIN has established a network of European data repositories, service centres and centres of expertise focusing on easily accessible digital language resources.


Digital Research Infrastructure for the Arts and Humanities

Digitally enabled Humanities studies have been at the centre of the ACDH efforts over the past few years. Therefore the institute plays an active part within pan-European infrastructures.


Open Platform for Access to and Analysis of Textual Documents of Cultural Heritage Description

The Open Platform for Access to and Analysis of Textual Documents of Cultural Heritage Description has started its activities. OPATCH intends to develop a platform for the analysis of digital text collections.


This project conducted by the ACDH in cooperation with the University of Graz collects, evaluates and visualises information on Western Allied planes downed during the Second World War in the area of present-day Austria.

Wien[n]erisches Diarium – A digital data treasury for the humanities

Facilitating the use of the Wien[n]erische Diarium in a digital environment is of great scholarly interest for various disciplines within the humanities. This go!digital project proposes to work closely with researchers across the fields in order to determine which aspects of the data treasury are of particular relevance and should be prepared for digital use.
